The Ghost shark, otherwise known as an Elephant shark (which makes more sense to me), is a primitive deep sea fish that belongs to the oldest living family of jawed vertebrates.
What's cool about this guy is that he can see in color just like humans can! Scientists went bazerk when they found this out because it shed some light on how color vision evolved in early vertebrates over the last 450 million years of evolution. Dance party in the lab err'body!!!!
